During the last part of term we have been studying structures and mechanisms. Mr Burt gave us a task to do. Humpty Dumpty had fallen off the wall and as the kings chief weapons advisor we had to make a catapult to heave him back over again. First we made a catapult our of household items. These were: a milk bottle top, an ice block stick, a small wooden cube, a peg, and a large flat block of wood. Then we got our teacher Mr Burt to glue them together. We had fun firing the marshmallows and measuring the distance. Sophie and Celine's went the furthest of 3.20 metres.
